Most sunglasses are designed for general outdoor use. Golf asks for something more exact: a stable view at address, clear distance perception through the swing, readable turf on the green and comfort that lasts for an entire round. USWING was created around those demands.
Designed around the swing, not just sunlight
Uswing began with a problem its founder, Warren Fong, experienced personally. Ordinary sunglasses could reduce brightness, but they were often removed before a shot because they changed the way distance or position appeared. Uswing's development team brought together expertise in optics, physics, chemistry and ergonomics to create eyewear that can stay on from tee to green.
A consistent sense of distance
Uswing lens filtering is engineered to reduce visual deviation and deliver a zero-parallax viewing experience. That means golfers can judge the ball, target and landing area with a more consistent visual reference instead of repeatedly adapting between naked-eye and sunglass views.
Course detail that remains natural
On the green, the objective is not to create exaggerated color. Uswing filters reflected glare so grass direction, slope and contours are easier to distinguish while natural depth is preserved. Pilot-inspired lens color parameters are also used to support a calmer, more focused visual environment.
Comfort for 18 holes and beyond
An ultra-light frame, adjustable temples and a screw-free construction help reduce pressure during long wear. Hydrophobic and oleophobic treatments make the lenses easier to keep clear when conditions change, while impact-resistant lens material adds practical eye protection.
USWING is golf equipment in eyewear form: designed for the full sequence of seeing, deciding and committing to the shot.
